Slider direction is inverted (min=0/top=air is correct conceptually but the CSS rotate(-90deg) transform on a horizontal range input means dragging toward the top of the screen actually increases the value, making crowns sink — need to verify, but the logical mapping has value=0→air, value=100→water which is correct in code yet the rotated slider's physical top thumb position corresponds to value=100, so physically top=water, bottom=air, which is inverted UX.
