Slider is inverted (min=0 at left/top maps to crowns in air, but the CSS rotation trick with `transform: rotate(-90deg)` means the thumb-at-top position sends value=0 which correctly keeps crowns in air — however the gradient goes gold→blue left-to-right which visually reads backwards — no discrete fall animation, crowns just linearly interpolate down without a timed drop sequence.
